BELIEFS
Our Confession
Our Confession or Statement of Faith is a summary of what we believe as a church. It’s founded upon God’s Word and evidenced in historic Christianity. It serves to guard us from error and encourage sound doctrine among us. These doctrines are what unite us as a church. As it’s been said, “shared fellowship is only as deep as shared beliefs.” We pray you find our Confession edifying as you read and reflect upon the goodness of God through these doctrines.
Our Covenant
If our Church Confession summarizes what we believe, our Church Covenant summarizes how we practice those beliefs. It serves as a set of promises that we make to one another as members of Ozark Baptist Church. As God’s people we have a responsibility for each other’s growth in godliness and our covenant reflects our commitment to one another for that very thing.
Our Constitution
Our Church Constitution states how we seek to govern ourselves around our Confession and Covenant as a church. Our Constitution helps us do all things decently and in order (1 Cor. 14:40). This document isn’t a formality. Instead, it serves to facilitate unity as we make decisions as a church and it helps us focus on what matters most, the gospel.
